Logistics Hall of Fame Council nominates Finalists
The finalists for the World´s Logistics Hall of Fame selection have now been selected. Last Wednesday, Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer invited the Logistics Hall of Fame Council to the ministry, where in a first ballot the committee nominated a total of seven personalities. Prior to this, 25 valid entries from Australia, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Great Britain, Serbia, Switzerland and the USA reached the hall.
Federal Minister Scheuer to take patronage of the Logistics Hall of Fame
Andreas Scheuer, Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, has assumed patronage of the Logistics Hall of Fame. In addition, as a member of the jury, he will future determine who will be inducted to the world´s pantheon of logistics.
According to the Hall of Fame for Logistics, Scheuer emphasized in his reply: "I am delighted to accept my new role as patron of the Logistics Hall of Fame and as juror. The Logistics Hall of Fame impressively documents what advanced logistics can achieve for business and society. Its international appeal makes a major contribution to Germany's reputation as a logistics location in the world."

The Logistics Hall of Fame announced the appointment of six new jurors shortly before the beginning of this year's proposal phase.
Frank Dreeke, Chairman of the Management Board of BLG Logistics Group, Gunnar Herrmann, Chairman of the Management Board of Ford-Werke GmbH, Bernd-Michael Melcher, Member of the Management Board of KRAVAG-SACH Versicherung, Dr. Jörg Mosolf, CEO of the Mosolf Group, Dr. Hansjörg Rodi, Chairman of the Executive Board Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG, and Frank Schäfer, President of the German Association of Furniture Forwarding Agencies and Logistics (AMÖ) e. V., will determine who deserves to be part of the world´s pantheon of logistics.
