Volker Wissing becomes patron of the Logistics Hall of Fame
The Federal Minister of Digital and Transport will take patronage of the international Logistics Hall of Fame.
Federal Minister Dr Volker Wissing (FDP), Minister for Digital and Transport, is the new patron of the Logistics Hall of Fame. The Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport is thus continuing its since 2010 existing commitment in the supporters circle of the international Hall of Fame of Logistics.
“Logistics is the backbone of the economy and society and makes sure that our everyday lives function smoothly. The Logistics Hall of Fame illustrates this impressively in an independent, professional and international way across all sectors and media channels. It is supported by an expert jury that represents all sub-sections and facets of logistics. It is my great pleasure to support the Logistics Hall of Fame because it helps enhance the perception of, and above all appreciation for, this sector's immense significance,” emphasises Dr Volker Wissing, Member of the German Bundestag, Federal Minister for Digital and Transport.
In 2022, the Logistics Hall of Fame will once again induct a new member. Until May 13, anyone can nominate personalities or groups of people for election to the Logistics Hall of Fame at www.logisticshalloffame.net or submit an application. The achievement can be technical, strategic, scientific, managerial or entrepreneurial. The decisive factor is that it is not only useful for an individual company but has a positive impact on logistics as a whole.
