Logistics Hall of Fame to start 2026 nomination phase
Exceptional voting: Following a decision by the Council, several new members will be inducted into the Logistics Hall of Fame in 2026. The annual gala reception returns to Vienna and will take place on December 4, 2026, at the Hofburg in Vienna.
Ismaning near Munich, February 4, 2026. The Logistics Hall of Fame nomination portal is open again. From now until May 5, individuals or groups can be nominated for inductee into the international Logistics Hall of Fame at www.logisticshalloffame.net. The decisive factor is that their achievements have had a lasting and positive impact on the entire industry beyond their own company. Contributions can be technological, strategic, scientific, business, or entrepreneurial in nature. Only individuals are honored, not projects.
An extraordinary voting is beginning for the Logistics Hall of Fame, as the Council has decided that several new members will be inducted into the Logistics Hall of Fame in 2026. The last time this happened was ten years ago. In doing so, the international hall of fame is recognizing the diversity and depth of outstanding logistical achievements that have had a significant impact on the industry over the years.
“This special voting year offers a rare opportunity to highlight the diversity of outstanding achievements in logistics. Visionaries, doers, and thought leaders who have changed structures and set milestones deserve recognition—and that is exactly what the Logistics Hall of Fame stands for. We call on the global community to nominate individuals who have had a lasting impact on logistics and supply chain management beyond their immediate environment. Highlighting their achievements means recognizing the true importance of logistics for the economy and society," says Anita Wuermser, Executive Chair of the Logistics Hall of Fame jury.
The formal induction of the new members will take place during the annual gala reception on December 4 in Vienna. The gala will be held at the Vienna Hofburg, one of Europe's most traditional and magnificent event venues. With its return to Vienna, the Logistics Hall of Fame comes full circle: the international hall of fame's first gala was celebrated in the Austrian capital in 2010, before moving to Berlin in subsequent years.
The event will also see the fourth presentation of the Lynn C. Fritz Medal for Excellence in Humanitarian Logistics. Humanitarian organizations and their logistics partners can apply for this award with successful projects. The application form is also available on the Logistics Hall of Fame website.
The Logistics Hall of Fame is supported by politicians, associations, the media, business, and academia. It can be accessed free of charge at any time at www.logisticshalloffame.net and documents significant logistics milestones and the personalities who have had a lasting impact on the development of the industry.
