Council Convenes in Berlin

Who will be inducted into the Logistics Hall of Fame in 2025, and who will be named Logistics Leader of the Year? The Logistics Hall of Fame Council nominates four individuals in each category.

The finalists for this year’s induction into the international Logistics Hall of Fame have been determined. On Monday, the Logistics Hall of Fame Council nominated four candidates each for induction as a new member and for the “Logistics Leader of the Year” award during its meeting at the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) in Berlin. A total of 25 valid nominations from eight countries were submitted to the award organization. As is tradition, the names of the finalists will remain confidential. The final decision will now be made by the international jury.

The members of the Logistics Hall of Fame Council 2025 are:

•    Marten Bosselmann, Chairman of Bundesverband Paket- und Expresslogistik (BPEX) e. V., Berlin
•    Robert Cameron, Head of Production, Logistics & Aftermarket Department at the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) e. V., Berlin
•    Dr. Florian Eck, Managing Director of Deutsches Verkehrsforum (DVF) e. V., Berlin
•    Michael Jungk, Head of Supply Chain Management and Logistics, Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik (BME) e. V., Frankfurt
•    Frank Müller, Senior Vice President Sales & Service Business Development STILL GmbH, Hamburg
•    Heiner Sieger, Editor-in-Chief of e-Commerce Magazine and Digital Business, Vaterstetten
•    Gudrun Winner-Athens, Managing Partner, Winner Spedition GmbH & Co. KG, Iserlohn
•    Anita Würmser, Managing Partner, impact media projects GmbH (Jury Chairwoman), Munich

The Logistics Hall of Fame documents outstanding milestones and figures in the field of logistics. To be inducted, an achievement must have made a significant and lasting impact on logistics beyond the boundaries of a single company. In addition, the title “Logistics Leader of the Year” honors individuals who are currently providing groundbreaking and forward-thinking impulses for the industry.

The final decision on the 2025 award winners will be made by an independent jury consisting of around 70 internationally renowned experts from business, academia, politics, and the media. The official induction and award ceremony will take place during the annual gala reception in December in Berlin.
