Logistics Hall of Fame starts with a new proposal phase

Who will be admitted into the Logistics Hall of Fame this year? The Logistics Hall of Fame is looking for the new member 2020. Anyone can suggest personalities for the admission or submit an application. Groups can also be proposed. The achievement can be technical, strategic, scientific, business or entrepreneurial. The decisive factor is that it is not only of benefit to an individual company but has a positive impact on the entire logistics sector. In addition, the service must already have been provided; theoretical concepts are not sufficient.

In the first round of voting, the Logistics Hall of Fame Council nominates the candidates from which the international jury of experts selects a new member.

Logistics Leader of the Year

For the second time, the Logistics Hall of Fame will award the "Logistics Leader of the Year". Suggestions for this award can also be submitted with immediate effect. "Logistics leaders are the trendsetters and pacemakers of the industry," explains jury chair Anita Würmser. In the course of a year, they have been particularly successful in promoting their company or have set a trend-setting impulse. The focus is on the benefits for their own company, while the members of the Logistics Hall of Fame have set major milestones beyond the boundaries of their own company.

Proposals or applications in German or English for both awards are free of charge. They have to be submitted until May 8, 2020. They can only be submitted online at www.logisticshalloffame.net. The newly elected member as well as the "Logistics Leader of the Year" will be honored at the annual Logistics Hall of Fame reception, which will be held for the tenth time at the Federal Ministry of Transport in Berlin. The Logistics Hall of Fame is supported by politics, associations, media, business and science. The patron is Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer.

The Logistics Hall of Fame can be accessed free of charge at any time at www.logisticshalloffame.net and provides information about the logistics milestones and their creators.
