Johannes Fottner appointed to the jury

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Johannes Fottner, Chair of Materials Handling Material Flow Logistics at the Technical University of Munich (fml), has accepted the invitation to the jury.

Fottner studied mechanical engineering at the TUM and received his doctorate there in 2002 in the field of materials handling technology, material flow and logistics. From 2002 to 2008 he held various management positions at the Swiss Swisslog Group. In 2008 he took over the management of the Munich MIAS Group. Prof. Fottner has been Chairman of the Bavarian State Association since 2015 and Deputy Chairman of the Production and Logistics Association of the Association of German Engineers (VDI). In 2016, he was appointed Professor of Technical Logistics at TUM.
