The Group is now supporting the Logistics Hall of Fame and is committed to recognizing outstanding logistics achievements.
Häfen und Güterverkehr Köln AG (HGK) has become a new Silver Partner of the Logistics Hall of Fame. This partnership underlines the company's commitment to recognizing outstanding achievements in the logistics industry, which are also highly relevant to HGK.
"The HGK Group has undergone remarkable development over the past five years and is now addressing new markets and customers with its integrated logistics approach," explains Uwe Wedig, CEO of HGK. Cooperation with international institutions and platforms is an essential element of this dynamic development. "The partnership with the Logistics Hall of Fame offers us optimal opportunities to further expand these connections," he adds.
HGK is a subsidiary of the Stadtwerke Köln Group and has developed from a regional port operator into a Europe-wide group for integrated transport and logistics services. Through its subsidiaries and associated companies, HGK operates, among other things, Germany's largest inland port network and Europe's largest inland shipping company.
The Logistics Hall of Fame is supported by a network of people and companies who are committed to documenting and recognizing outstanding achievements in logistics. The common goal is to demonstrate worldwide the contribution that the logistics industry makes to the global economy.
