CHEP to support Logistics Hall of Fame
The circle of supporters of the Logistics Hall of Fame is growing further. CHEP Deutschland GmbH joined the group in June.
"Without the inventions of logistics, our world would be chaos. The Logistics Hall of Fame impressively demonstrates to all of us what logistics does for humanity every day. CHEP is more than willing to support this," says Kai Derda, Managing Director of CHEP Deutschland GmbH, explaining the company's commitment.
CHEP is the world market leader in pallet and container pooling. More than 500 million pallets and containers in circulation around the globe ensure safe, efficient and environmentally friendly logistics processes for the transport of industrial products to retailers. The company has been part of the Australian Brambles Group since 1945 and employs more than 14,000 people in 50 countries, 300 of them in Germany. CHEP has 1340 service centers worldwide, 30 of which are in Germany.
CHEP Deutschland GmbH was founded in Cologne in 1985. In Germany, CHEP is not only known for its blue 1/4 display pallet, CHEP Euro pallet and CHEP half pallet, but also as a provider of supply chain solutions for consumer goods, fresh food, beverages and the manufacturing and retail sectors.
